While I won't argue with that price, I find it ridiculous that you have to accept some updated xbox live TOS (and login on the xbox page) before buying :lol:

So I finished DLin the game and started to install, about 17% into the install it's asking me for a key. Did I miss something? I figured the game would just install on it's own or the game key box would say something other than:

Game Activation Key:
No key assigned

They ran out of keys. I guess Microsoft learned that when you give something away for free on the Internet people take it.

I mentioned on a news post once, that the only way the GFWL store was going to catch on is if they try to beat Steam on price. It looks like they're trying to do just that. Apparently they've been running deals like this (not quite as extreme as $0.10) for the entire week.

I can't wait for the Steam sales though.

Crap, it wants a key from me as well. Ten cents isn't much to lose, but they took money from us, so they'd better get this sorted soon.

Due to the overwhelming success of the Age of Empires III sale, we have temporarily run out of keys to unlock the game. You can still buy the game at this amazing price and you will get/see a key in the next week. When new keys are added to the system you will be auto-assigned a key, there is no need to call support or take any other action from your end. We will post here on the forums when the keys are available and the next time you click 'View Game Keys' for the game you should be assigned one.

Yeah, I got the same thing this morning when I finally went to install, and then came back to the forum thread to find that. Oh well, I'm sure they'll get it fixed.

I picked up a copy yesterday, too, but the GFW Marketplace keeps crashing hard just a percent or so into the download. At least once I had to restart the computer to get rid of the non-responsive program... And I still can't get it downloaded, CD key or not.

I still had to type in the key, which is retarded. WHen you click on the game's entry in the GFWL client mid-install (when you're prompted for the key) does it still say "No key associated"? Or do you see the key now?

There appear to be 2 new MS Games for Windows games for under $1 available, linked via Slickdeals.net. The first is Deus Ex Game of the Year Edition, and the second is something called ShadowRun, the video for which looked somewhat interesting in that players have useable glider wings on their backs.
