Windows 7 for 20 dollars?

I was searching for a copy of Windows 7, and I came across this site: http://www.msoftkey.com/

They advertise selling a copy of Windows 7 on a USB key for as little as 20 dollars. Ultimate edition is 32 dollars. Anyone know if this is a legitimate website?

I tried chatting with one of their representatives, and their explanation of the low price was that they buy they keys in bulk and pass the savings along.

If the site is endorsed by Dr. Nick Riviera, I'd be wary.

That site has shady written all over it.

BTW I like how they sell the software at a ridiculously low price, but they say that the Windows 7 case badge is a $4.00 value

Sounds too good to be true. Probably is. Wouldn't trust them with a credit card number.

If you're going to risk it, contact your bank for a disposable credit card number. It will either be a one use number or a very limited dollar amount. That way, if they burn you, your loss will be minimal.

Cool, I didn't even know that could be done.

But another thought is that their explanation isn't an explanation. Even if they got all the USB keys for free, the Windows licenses would still cost too much for them to be able to offer them at that price :-?

didn't look at the website, but if you want a tip, check ebay for laptop parts. Find the piece that has the windows sticker on it, then bid.

You guys are so cynical. I mean, look at this customer review:

nice key and works well. the price is cheap also. you are really great and kind enough.

See? The key doesn't just work, it works well! And it's cheap! How can they offer these amazingly low prices? Because they're great and kind, that's how!

You can buy disposable credit cards with the gift cards in most any big box retailer these days also. Not worth it in this case because its a scam.

No, it was on the front page under "hot forum threads", I swear. I didn't even check the dates because I assumed it's new.
