From 10 am until 12:59 pm Pacific Time, Newegg will have the Western Digital SiliconEdge Blue 256GB SSD for only $199.99.
It's a shell shocker deal and I doubt it'll last long.

It appears to be using a revised JMicron controller -- no stuttering, but the random reads and writes are still pretty bad for an SSD. Also, the power consumption listed on Newegg is huge -- 0.6W idle, 2/3.5W Read/Write. For comparison the Crucial M4 gets 0.085W idle, 0.16W active.
I can see why they're putting it on sale -- at $499, it makes absolutely no sense with much better 256GB SSDs at close to $400 (the above M4 is only $419). I don't care about sequential access, but the random reads and writes are kind of low so I think I'll pass. Still, at less than $1 per GB, it might be worth it for some people.
Do you really think it would be worth it with a laptop?
