Note: This card has NO SLI connector. -- The 650 Ti is a 660 Kepler with one of the core groups disabled which leaves "only" 768 cores. Before you get too excited about 768 cores you should know that Kepler shaders run at the same speed as the core clock instead of twice as fast as the core clock as they did in the G80/G92 and Fermi GPUs. Out of the box it has a very mild over clock, they claim up to a 17% OC is available and allow three bias voltage bumps via software. It is one of the few (maybe the only) 650 Ti cards with heat pipes (2), but it has no ducting for blowing hot air out the back of the case. They claim a max load temp of 57 C and one of the customer reviews confirms it running under 60 C (I assume at stock clocks with no ambient listed). Some mention the fan being fairly loud at full speed. If I am unable to talk myself out this deal the card will live in either my Antec 900 or Antec 600 case, both of which have a 200mm blow hole fan and a 120mm back panel fan with lots of front venting for cool air intake.
This "should" be a fairly economical GPU folder with "good" points per watt. I recall hearing 10,000 PPD mentioned depending on work unit mix over on the folding forum.
