stable m board for 45nm and 65 nm and fast ddr2 ram?

I origianlly posted in the nvida forum about sli boards but get the impression from the responses to skip SLI -- If I weren't going to go with SLI, but I wanted to be able to use fast ddr2 ram and 65nm as well as 45nm processors Intel processors -- What would solid mboard would you suggest?

Well if he can afford it you should probably go SLI since he's one of the few that wants to game on his 30" monitor.
