If there was 2 F sockets on the motherboard would you have to fill both the sockets or can i only have one socket filled till i buy the 2nd one! its runs the same and wont hurt anything right?

You run any dual-socket board (dual Socket F in your case) with a single CPU chip while other socket is empty. You can get a second chip to fill the empty socket later down the road.

As krogoth stated, all true. As for the performence, of course it will run better with another FX7 series, which would be quadcore.
