Has something happened to your P5B?

Take a look at motherboards with the P35 chipset (e.g.: P5K for $134)

ABIT Pro P35 or GA-P35-DQ6. As recommended by TR :)

nothing has happened to the current tower, I just am pondering building a new one cheap, because i like to know what's a good deal on a MB . . . CompUSA is going out of business, they are not known for the BYOC, and there might be great deals on a antec 900 case, antec 680 PS, cables, hard drives, such that the cost of building a mid size tower is cheap, with only the CPU and the software as regular purchases. I am not seeing much move in the tech parts section, so if there is any more discounting after christmas, it will be worth building a new computer for family, etc. Of course the risk is that any DOA is non refundable. . .

they have a P5K deluxe for $200, and i don't know how this MB stacks up against my current P5B dee-luxe, or any other boards. . .

that's the purpose of the question. . .

any thoughts on the P5K dee-luxe? at $200 or less
