The NVidia 750i boards have finally made a showing

Wed Jan 23, 2008 7:53 pm

I saw this board at newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131232

Any idea if and when one of these 750's will be tested? I'm not a big fan of SLI but it's the cheapest PCIe 2.0 around and it still uses DDR2. It appears to be the best board to make use of all my existing hardware. If they are as problematic as the 600 series though, I'll pass and get a P35. Any info will be appreciated, thanks.

If you can wait then the P45 should be out next quarter. I prefer to stay with Intel chipsets.

But regardless, PCIe 2.0 is not going to make a whole lot of difference. By the time it does the platform of choice will be for Nehalem, which will be next year at the earliest.
The Model M is not for the faint of heart. You either like them or hate them.

Looks like a nice motherboard. I like the passive cooling. At first you I thought that this might be a new AM2+ board.
