Has anyone found any new info on the exact release date for the 790i. I know its some time in Q2 but i haven't heard any new info in a while and i'm holding off my build untill its released. I know, I know, DD3 isnt worth it right now but i'm building a new setup from the ground up and just want something more future proof... without official support for 1600 mhz fsb or ddr3, i feel like the 780i will be outdated in no time :-? . Also any word on possible price range?

The release date where? I have had this board for some time now. As for DDR3, I think DDR3 is definitely worth it. There are many engineering advances in the memory going from DDR2 to DDR3. Not to mention you can link and sync the memory with no problem while OCing your CPU. Currently I have my processor at 4.1Ghz and my memory at 1850Mhz in my 790i system.

Sadly, I personally don't have money to burn. But my company apparently had quite a bit of money to burn for the benefit program they offered. I am the only one who has challenged them to the limit of their benefits packages :). So far I have caused them to redo their Personal PC program and training program. I am hoping they don't start to nerf their education reimbursement program because of me heh.
