How is the onboard video?

I was looking a motherboard recently, AMD, 780G, with an onboard video chipset of ATI Radeon HD 3200.

How is the video quality on this? What would it compare to in terms of Nvidia? Would it be suitable for gaming? Would it be worth upgrading to discrete graphics?

I could try to talk about the 780G chipset, but why do that when there's an excellent review on that exact motherboard here at TR. Look on page 8 to see exactly how [un]suitable the chipset is for gaming. If you want to play games, you'll want a discrete video card. How much to spend and which one to get depends on how much you play games and what you expect out of them.
