Memory Issues with sweet spot build

Fri Aug 01, 2008 8:39 pm

I recently built the sweet spot out of the junes system guide. I have installed vista64 but was only able to do so with one of the 2gb sticks mushkin ram. My system keeps restarting itself on boot up when putting both 2gb sticks in. Ive seen a lot of the same problems posted on various site but I havent been able to nail down an adequest solution. Any advice?

I had a similar problem with some OCZ sticks... are you're timings and voltages set correctly in the bios? is your bios up to date?

Have you installed one of those Vista hotfixes to allow 4GiB operation?
The Model M is not for the faint of heart. You either like them or hate them.
