ncix has a much larger listing of new boards; newegg is prob waiting for adequate stock before reactivating on their site.

What's a bit weird about NCIX is that they list two X58 Gigabyte boards; they're the only one that are actually in stock, except for two Gigabyte mATX H67 boards.

I was sort of thinking about ordering an MSI board from Newegg, but now I think I'll wait for LGA2011; My i5-750 is still plenty fast for my purposes.
i5-750 @ 3.3 GHz; Asus P7P55D-E Pro; Thermalright Silver Arrow; Antec P183; 4 GB; 2x Radeon HD 6950; Corsair HX650.

In your shoes, with a decent overclock (>4.0GHz), I'd feel the same way! My Q9550 unfortunately, while still fast at 3.4GHz, is way behind on IPC compared to the i7's what with their integrated memory controllers, hyperthreading (860+) and higher bandwidth DDR3 memory interfaces; even more so, to the tune of 30-50%, with the new 2600s, and that's just at stock speeds. With people regularly hitting 4.5GHz+ on the 2500k and 2600k using pedestrian air or closed loop water coolers, I can't help but drool at essentially twice the CPU performance in one upgrade :).

I'm also thinking that the price for entry with the LGA2011 stuff is going to be way out of hand at release, and stay relatively high over time. While the performance may be there, I just don't see it being worth the investment over the Sandy Bridge setups we have now.
