SLI on P67 Sabertooth

Tue May 03, 2011 12:53 pm

Hey team,

I am interested in making two modifications to my gaming rig in the next few months: adding another GB GTX560Ti-SOC-950 for SLI and adding a soundcard. That video card has two fans on the front face, so I am concerned with airflow between them, but the other PCIE 1X slot is above the top PCIE 16X slot and could crowd the back. I have thought of getting a half-height card and putting it between the video cards. Here is a link to images of the card for reference...

Any thoughts on or experience with similar sitiuations?

Thanks in advance for your contributions.

It wouldn't be an issue with much higher powered cards- the GTX560's won't notice. You might want to make sure you have good airflow to mix in cold air though!
