1156 MB with decent Sata 3?

Postposted on Mon Sep 26, 2011 8:49 pm

I currently have an Asus P7P55D-E Pro, with the somewhat horrible Marvell 9120 Sata 3 controller. I currently run 3 X25V's in Raid 0 off the Intel controller. I want to replace that array with a single Sata 3 SSD. Is there a socket 1156 board that has a decent Sata 3 controller?

I've looked at addon controllers, but not really anything good under $330 CDN (All the cheaper PCIE x4 boards get very bad reviews).

Does this beast exist?
