Replacement LCD for a Kodak EasyShare C310?

Posted in General Hardware because I forgot whether digicam stuff went in Mobile Tech or Graphics Technology.

Seems that one of the students at work has gotten her camera stomped on.

Also seems that everything works except for the LCD.

So, guess what I get to do?

Yup, that's right, replace the LCD.

Anyway, I'd rather not crack it open until I have the LCD in hand. Google is failing me, as for looking up the part number.

Anyone have any sources that they can use to look up the part number for the C310's LCD? If nothing else, I'll post up the part number if I have to crack it open to find out.

Just replace the camera. It's cheap enough to not be at all worth fixing imo. If you want, reuse the sensor for something else or use it tethered or something.

Well, that's the option I'd rather go with, but if the LCD is in the ~$50 range, it's still cheaper than a new camera, even counting my time.

And, it's not my camera, anyway.

http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/Ko ... 25608&fp=F is pretty cheap... Hit or miss reseller though.

On fleabay a lot of whole cameras have been going for less than your $50 mark, and they probably haven't been stomped on.
