Photography subject: Fall colors

This isn't as impressive as jobodaho's post here, but I snapped this one out the car window as I left the parking lot at work this evening.

It's a Bradford pear tree. I sometimes call them "lollipop trees" because they're really shaped like the trees that we drew as children.

It's like a rainbow, the tops are red and the bottoms still green. quite nice, your pic that is.

This is one of my favourite fall picures taken a month back in Central Park.

That's a great shot, etilena. I like the contrast of the orange leaves with the dark bark and the green in the background.

Great photos but your colours are all wrong, and whats this fall season :)

Spring = Light green + bright colours
Summer = brown + yellow, painfully bright blue sky
Autumn = Light green
Winter = Dark green

Bad year around here, we just about didnt get any fall colours as all. Feels like it went from rainy summer to rainy winter and passed fall while i took a nap.

Hey, at least you live in Sweden, I could ignore the lack of fall colors for all of the nice-looking ladies you have there.
