Panoramic Pieces Merging HELP

Postposted on Sun Dec 30, 2007 5:50 pm

I recently took a series of 5 shots that I want to piece together into a panoramic shot. It would look awesome if I could fit it all together right.

Any suggestions on how to piece them together?

Some of them might need some slight rotating so that it matches up correctly.

What program should I use? I don't have photoshop. Any free stuff out there that works well?

Thanks

Hugin (and other panorama tools based applications) has a good reputation. I'd try that. This should be a good resource for you. Since the action of stitching multiple images into a panorama, correcting for distortions, and rendering them is a rather technical/mathematical problem this is the sort of task that open source software is often good at.
