Theres a guy in my town selling one brand new sealed hes asking $300 for it.

Now 24" is way way more than I need in my opinion. Id be happy with a 20" or even a 19". Right now I have a 17" 1280x1050. And $300 is above my price range, but it seems like thats half the price most places are selling it for.

Can anybody tell me anything about it? Ive read a few google reviews they say "great image quality" "good for gaming"

Anybody have any personal experience?

Seriously, any manufacturers trying to sell TN-Film 24in displays (and at PVA prices) deserve to be shot.

There's a reason he wants to sell it at $300. That's all the monitor is worth in the first place.

Get it if you don't care about viewing angles, colour accuracy or dithering.

Some people make a bigger deal about the lack of quality with TN displays than they should be. It matters what you are doing, but if you are just gaming and browsing the web, without doing something such as photo editing, there is nothing wrong with a TN display. I have a 22", and there is nothing wrong with it. Vertical viewing angles are not as good as PVA and IPS panels, but they really are not that bad...these are not the pathetic LCD panels of old. If you are on a budget, TN panels are not bad at all. For that price, I would definitely say go for it as long as you aren't using it for any "professional" tasks.
