Here's the best of what I could get last night. I was lucky the sky was clear, all of the forecasts called for lots of clouds and rain. I missed capturing the first part, I got out there with plenty of time, watching the moon disappear, I whipped out my camera to take a shot, and... "error, no CF card" Damn, I forgot my memory card at home. *slaps forehead* So after it went total I had a bit of time to run home and get it.

Here it's still total, but it's getting a lot brighter on one side.

Here you can see some sunlight hitting the edge, it's a bit over-exposed there.

When I crank up the shutter speed you can see the edge of the moon again.

And here it is almost full again.


I have tons more pictures than this of course, but these are the highlights. All pics are 100% crops, slightly sharpened in photoshop. I suppose I could mess with the white balance a bit, but the auto setting looks pretty good to my eye.
