Laptop Webcam needed.

My wife is going to Yellowknife, NWT in two weeks - for two weeks - and I would like to get her a webcam for her laptop.

Many of you have laptops. any model in particular you like.

She has a Dell 1501 with 1GB of ram using Windows Vista Basic. I plan on adding another 1GB soon, so that should help a bit.

This is the webcam I have in mind since everything else that's decent is $80 and up.

Also, can I add normal memory or does Dell use proprietary stuff. I'm thinking of adding some Crucial Rendition to beef up her laptop. There is two sticks of 512MB DDR-533 in there right now.
