HDTV Question

I recently purchased a Samsung 50" T5087S DLP HDTV from Bestbuy. Anyway, it makes a buzzing noise from one side. It can be heard at all times when it is on (if I get close to it) and it is really noticeable at low volume levels. It is not annoying if the volume is up but it is when the volume is down. Does anyone know if this is normal for this brand or for a HDTV in general? I checked their website and it shows that it is probably the color wheel or the cooling fan. It does not sound like a cooling fan to me. I found out that the warranty expires in July! Since I am under the 30 day return policy I plan on exchanging it for another model.
Should I go with another Samsung or would another brand be best? The only other tv they have in the price range and that size is a Insignia.

I've had a Samsung 46" DLP for a few years and have no buzzing whatsoever. I'd say it's probably a defect.

It was a outlet item so it was not available in their stores. It was delivered direct from one of their warehouses. Hopefully the next one is in their store showroom so I can listen to it.

Sounds like your TV has coil wine. I'd see if you can get it on warranty, just get it replaced if its free.

According to the technician from Samsung, the warranty is up in the end of July and he said it could take up to 30 days to get the part in. I decided to call Best Buy and they will pickup the television for a refund. I found a 56" model with the same specs for the same price in their store.
