How good is LG L2252TQ LCD ?

Postposted on Wed Aug 06, 2008 9:32 am

I planing to give my current Monitor (Samsung 206BW 20 inch) to my brother, and I'm planning to get LG L2252TQ 22 inch ?

Do you think that this LG monitor is better than my current Samsung 206BW ?

And is it better than LG W2242T ?

You can see the spec for LG L2252TQ from here
http://www.lge.com/products/model/detail/w2252tq.jhtml

And the spec for LG W2242T
http://www.lge.com/products/model/detai ... _1_6.jhtml

I want the one that is better for gaming and watching movies

Thanks in advance for answering my questions

I would get this .. http://www.samsung.com/global/business/ ... LTM220CS01

S-PVA will look much better, it has 1920X1200 resolution and it's only 6 ms in response time :)

BTW LG L2252TQ is better than the other LG model that you posted.

The store that I'm getting the monitor from, doesn't have this LCD monitor.

Do you think 1680x1050 resolution is not good for 22 inch monitor ?

The one i suggested is definatly slower than your selection.

Also 1680X1050 is normally max resolution in 22" LCD today... But if you can get LCD that has 1920 X 1200 resolution on 22" with S-PVA panel, that would be heaven to your eyes.. Sharp (and i mean Ultra sharp) picture quality with excellent color reproduction ;)

The one you have selected LF L2252TQ is better than samsung 206BW... :)

That's a product page for a panel manufactured by Samsung, not a monitor. Though a monitor with that panel would be pretty awesome.

Do we know if there is any retail monitor based on this panel out yet?
