Going dual monitor Dell 2007WFP/2009W

I currently have an S-IPS Dell 2007WFP and I want to get a second monitor. Ideally I would get another one but since they are discontinued I'm sort of stuck. I can get a 2009W (yeah I know its a sucky TN) so I'm wondering if anyone has actually put them side by side to give me an idea how different the picture on them looks.
My second option is to sell the 2007WFP and get 2x monitors of something else.

Any ideas?

Is a single UltraSharp 2408WFP a viable upgrade?

The huge borders on the sides of that monitor makes it no good for a dual setup. As for 2408, the net real-estate is less than two smaller 20" monitors.

There aren't many right now on ebay right now, but it's worth it to keep checking there from time to time if you're not in a hurry for a second 2007wfp.

I guess ebay is an option, though the couple that are there are selling for pretty high prices considering they are used. Gives me more an incentive to sell mine at a profit than to buy
