Vizio monitor

Sun Jan 18, 2009 2:18 pm

So Vizio makes computer monitors now. I didn't know they did I thought all they made was TV's. I picked up this one yesterday. The monitor is 26 inch, 1920X1200, 3ms response time etc. I can't find a single stuck pixel and the colors look nice. The only thing I wonder about at all is the size. It actually might be a little to big :-?

The Model M is not for the faint of heart. You either like them or hate them.

Apparently that's one of the better TN panels (but still a TN panel...)

That's how I look at widescreen, too. You never get stuff chopped off, you get a little bit added to each side.

My big thing with widescreens is they have to be 24 inches or bigger or the screen just doesnt have the vertical height that I want (both pixel height and actual height). I would probably still rather have a 24 inch 4:3 than this but seeing as how 4:3 is basically a thing of the past I dont have much choice.
