Need a cheap 1080p LCD TV

Mon Aug 17, 2009 10:19 pm

Hey guys, I need a relatively inexpensive 1080p 40" LCD TV. Does anyone have any recommendations? $1k and under, preferably.

In addition to the $100 off promo code (EMCHDV100), this is the best deal I've found so far.

have you looked at bestbuy?

there's at least 15 LCD 1080p TVs for under $1000, some are more than 40" though.

Watch slickdeals.net. Best deals will come across there for you. Sears has a great one right now for $630.

Sears has 42" LG 42LH30 1080p LCD HDTV for $629.99. Select in-store pick up to save on shipping, otherwise it's $65. Next lowest price on Google Products is $820 shipped. Thanks gilligan 1434

I would not buy an LCD TV from newegg
be sure to read their return policy
be sure to read it a second time, because there is a no return policy

Agreed. Spend a little more, and buy from a place with a liberal return policy. Wal-Mart comes to mind...

Fry's has this Sony (120Hz) for $777 but only for in-store pickup, so if there isn't a Fry's nearby you're out of luck.
