I've got a few. You should be able to click on them to see the original size (usually 3008x2000). No editing except one crop.

An older Drivehenge:

I like the geometry of heatsinks and capacitors. They're like little buildings:

And the wear of everyday use, the toll it takes on the things around us:

I should dust more. One more, probably the oldest piece of hardware I still have:

This is my first overclocking project back in 1988. (This is a cpu replacement for the Amiga1000, a public domain design that you build on your own. Took me an evening to solder)

I use to have a set of crystals and would swap them around. The picture show the 16mhz crystal (stable).. but I was able to get this upto 33mhz. (2x overlock without any cooling)

Image

I just took the picture by placing the board on my monitor with mspaint to control the background color.

Might bring nostalgia to some TR readers ?

I'm no photographer, and my little point and shoot Nikon Coolpix L3 is way out of it's depths here. I figured I would give it a shot though:
First pic is the back of the new 5870:

Second is the old 4890 and the new 5870 length being compared:

Third is a shot of the new card in the case:

Fourth is a view of the entire case and a sign that I need to get some compressed air to clean it out:

This last one I thought was cool because of the contrast. It's a closeup shot of the lit front bezel from the Sunbeam Transformer case.

Kept meaning to take my Nikon slr to work with me, but tried taking some shots with the cell phone instead.

The quality and sharpness of a pro camera is always nice, but it's fun trying to see what you can do with even the shoddiest cameras. Used to have a photography instructor who would hold a contest with disposable Kodaks.

PC Setup from when I won TR's 7950GX2 give away. I had to buy a complete new PC. The 7950GX2 was the biggest card I'd seen back then. Nothing else came close. Now, not so much. Funny thing is the 7950GX2 has moved on (but is still in use) and I'm still using the single core AGP Shuttle as my main PC. Go 6600GT.

Left = AMD 939 Stock Cooler, Middle = Intel 775 Stock Cooler, Right = Scythe Ninja. For such a big heatsink the ninja lives up to its name. You can't hear it and you can look right through it like its not even there.

As the sun slowly rises the homo coditus can sometimes be found in a semi-fetal position in his most private natural habitat. Due to prolonged activity its watery eyes lose focus and start to malfunction, however homo coditus still manages to accurately operate his machine as if he could perfectly read the source code. This yet unexplained phenomenon is only possible in the highest state of focus also known as the deep-hack-mode.

Btw I think that the originality of the hardware should be the winning factor;) Or even better the most original hardware gets a special prize radeon 5850, so I can have just one gc with those 3 screens;p

Here's a few of the Antec Skeleton builds I've sold on eBay the past year. Though the case is not a favorite with some enthusiasts, it really is quite an eye-catcher / unique to the tower cases out there. I like that it's quite easy work with / put together and cable and love the 250mm fan blowing down on all the components!
