I just did a search and saw that several of my comrades have been using this monitor for photo work. Mine just arrived and I need some advice on colour calibration. Ive never had a wide gamut monitor, so I'm a bit out-to-lunch on what the proper way to calibrate one is. My understanding is that using a calibration device (I don't have one, but I can borrow one) is the best way, but that Win7 has good calibration tools as well. Is that true? Does that mean that Win7 is handling the wide gamut calibration natively? I'd be greatly appreciative if someone could explain their calibration process or point me towards a step-by-step guide so that I can tan myself to a douchy orange-brown colour in the glow of my IPS/aRGB goodness.
