Point and shoot cameras that have Time/Date Stamps on pix?

Postposted on Sun Jan 09, 2011 2:21 am

I need a decent point and shoot camera that will time/date stamp photos for my up coming trip. I know the camera encodes the date into the picture but I need a timestamp on the photo.

Thanks

Many cameras have the option buried somewhere in their menus.

Or you could simply do it in post:

Methinks this Leica M3 clone will have the option:

That's also likely to be a very expensive camera...

No doubt. If you're going to model on Leica, you'd best charge Leica prices. It really does look much like an M3.

Saw the camera on Ars and this was the best open thread for the reference.

The nice Canon point and shoots all have time stamp options.
