I have a Westinghouse LCD (model: sk-32h540s) TV which I have had since 2008 or 2009.
This week, I bought a new ASUS x53z laptop and basic 20 buck philips HDMI cable (says 4x 1080 p + on the box) so that I could plug laptop into tv.
The connection is great, excellent picture and sound but there is a single row of pixels on the bottom edge of the tv and a single column on the right edge of the tv which are glowing fluorescent green. The only way I can describe it is like this:
Someone took a thin pen of glowing green and white and drew the thinnest line they could along the bottom and right edges of my tv when the HDMI connection is in play.
Does anyone have any thoughts? I like the picture and sound very much but this one thing is so annoying.
Thanks in advance
