You are crazy. You want the 'SL2', or whatever it will be called, that comes with the sensor Canon just debuted in the 70D; the one with Dual-Pixel AF and far better processing/firmware.
And yeah, you also want the 40/2.8; more than that 50/1.8, that's for sure. The 40/2.8 was great on my 60D, and it's still great on my 6D.
Would be nice if Canon would bundle the SL2 with the new 18-135 STM- that's one neat lens. I'm considering getting one with a 70D or 7D II kit, and rounding that out with Sigma's new 18-35/1.8 Art, for video, action, and as a backup to my 6D.
