An accurate thermometer?

Mon Sep 16, 2002 6:07 am

Was wondering.. have an Epox board.. it gives you a system temp reading on startup.. how accurate is that for room temperature?? Was thinking of using it as a basis for how cold (or hot) it is.. Any good?

Not really, if you wanna measure the temparture of your room, get a theormometer. Heck they give them away on keychains for free. Besides that, when measuring cpu temp the error is like +/- 30 anyway (correct me please if im wrong), so the error is pretty big.
