Online help in overclocking

Wed Oct 09, 2002 11:58 am

Anyone know some links to good online guides to overclocking? I have never done any OCing before, but have the general idea of what is needed down. I am going to be working with an Athlon XP 1400. Where would everyone recomend I go looking for FAQs/guides/help on doing this? Any links would be great. 8)

Hi there matie, are you mistaken for a Athlon T-Bird 1400mhz or is it a typo, and you actually meant a AthlonXP 1500+? Another question matie, what is the actual clock speed of your "AthlonXP 1400+".....just curious, cheers.

Hi there again, lol, ok, I thought it'd be a typo, lol nevermind, we all make daft mistakes like that. Anyway, regarding your question, see if http://www.overclockers.com is any help, cheers :).

Danger, and MD had the same question on differnt threads so I figured I'd pass on the links to I gave them to you too. I'm not sure who asked first though. Anyway, the more guides you have the better.

Tweak Town's guide I think is a good starting point:
http://www.tweaktown.com/document.php?d ... ew&dId=376

The other link I had is the one electrorax posted. It's pretty neat the way they used a crayon and a defogger repair kit.

A google search will get you tons of other good guides.

Good luck. Tell us how it works out.
