Depends on what u have. If u have a pentium its gonna take a little more work
and if u have AMD its gonna be cakewalk

If you are looking for a serious performance boost you probably won't get it wihout spending more money than you would on an equivalent upgrade. If you just like to screw with things, read up about mem timings, FSB and multiplier setting, and the like...
