With an sk6 and 40cfm ystech mine goes happily to 1.55ghz when +.075 volts. I've got a ak31rev3 and have noticed some of the voltage problems others have, so I think it's actually coming more to +.25 volts for that. That's with crappy case circulation. With the case open and a floor fan blowing, it can manage around 1.6 with the same volt jump.

Note that my room's ambient temp is probably slightly higher due to our latitude difference.

Also, this is bus overclocking only, it may be a different component or the board causing the instability.

Tom's hardware ran an article on how to unlock the multiplier on the amd xp series. Does anyone know if this will work the same way on a athlon mp? Has anyone tried it on either chip? Please post results.

There is no need. The multiplier is unlocked by default on the MP's.

Xp 1700+ on an epox8kha+

Haven't unlocked it yet but running fsb rockstable at 149. One notch higher and it crashes, even when I up vdimm or core.
Running 149 at 1.825 v and vdimm +0.10v.
So it's now a 2000+ running 98se and xp pro as a dualboot without a glitch.
Cooling is a TT7.
