Cooling for i7 2600K

Hey guys,

I decided to upgrade to Sandy Bridge and ordered the following components:

CPU
i7 2600K

MOBO
Asus P8P67 Pro

RAM
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL9 (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9)

I wanna push the i7 2600K to 4.5GHz minimum (or higher if possible, but would be very happy with 4.5GHz) - what heatsink+fan should I buy?

Your LGA1156 heatsinks will work on LGA1155.

For overclocking and for reduced noise, a third-party heatsink would provide better performance. You could consider something like the Corsair Hydro H70 for AU$149 for your overclocking. I suggest replacing one or both of the included 120x25mm fans with the PWM model that I linked above. The CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus for AU$31 is a cheaper option.
