Intel Receive Side Scaling Queues setting question?

Intel PROSet version 16.5.2.0 under "Link Speed" in properties, P8P67 PRO B3 REV 3.1, i5-2500k, under network adapters "Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection", win 7 64bit OEM

I have a Receive Side Scaling Queues question for my Intel 82579v. It is set to 1 but there is 2 and then 4. (Home PC) it says "1 queue is used when low CPU utilization is required. 2 queues is used when good throughput and low CPU utilization are required. 4 or more queues are used for applications that demand high transaction rates such as web server based applications. With this setting, the CPU utilization may be higher.

I only see options 1 and 2, but not 4. how can I get 4? Why is 4 not showing up?

Are 4 queues disabled because inlet doesn't want server software on home desktops?

From what I can see the queue setting is wholly dependent on the OEM of the NIC and driver.

Odds are a queue depth of four is not available with the specific revsion of Intel adapter you have.

As for why that is, your guess of market segmentation is reasonably possible.
