Yes, I know the meaning of the word 'could' and that's why I wrote it 
I wanted to put it out there because in case someone was really desparate they could try sourcing the Nidec originals.
I think someone linked this on the front page but since we've got an ongoing discussion here too... http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/coolers/di ... tions.html So, we knew Scythe Japan wasn't shutting down, and it turns out it's just a general company reorganization for other markets. Scythe lives on, yay!
