Can you write a red book DVD?

Postposted on Fri Jan 03, 2003 12:22 am

I was wondering if it is possible to use DVD media to record a red book audio disc that has more than 80 minutes of music. (to be played back on DVD and SACD machines, not regular CD players, of course). If so this would be a great way to archive 4 or 5 CDs onto one disc without resorting to lossy compression like MP3.

Anyone ever tried to do that?
