Ok people, I need your help with this one. Outta these 2 drives, which is the better (both drives are the same price, except on one site I found the Pioneer $5 cheaper):

i would go for the pioneer dvd because it is a little better plus sony lenses don't last to long

I would also go with the pioneer, I have used both drives and both of my pioneer ones still work and my sony one is now broken. Pioneer also releases firmware updates for their drives, while sony does not. Just another reason not to go with the sony drive.
