Yeah, some spammer made a thread so I replied! I figured some mod would just delete the thread but it seems not!

Nothing in the junk drawer with this thread title. Do you mean this thread?

Naw, I'm thinking someone deleted the account and checked off, "delete all posts by this user" as well. It just left mine when it did the job. It was a pretty good spambot, too.

It pulled "incompressible data" from somewhere, possibly that thread, and said in good grammar that it looked around and did a google search on "TR" (impressive!) and didn't find anything and blah blah blah.

Then about 200 lines of whitespace and at the bottom all these links to TV shows and various things on random websites. However, it might have been more fun if I just left the thread alone with my random your-mom joke...

Just curious on what compels you to use this French phrase all the time?

You must have taken 2 years of French in high school or something, maybe went into it a little more in college, dunno.

Being a canuck, this is one of the few French things I can say that is pretty common vernacular even for Anglophones here. Maybe toque. And occasionally Sacrebleu if we want to be "funny"

edit: Not that Ned is Canadian, what I meant is this is practically an English expression for some of us.

No, but the Quebec border is 45 miles away and Montreal is 90 minutes away.

Ahh, that probably has something to do with. I'm not good with the US geography I guess. There's probably more of a French influence in Vermont than in Western Canada. Even in good old Saskatchewan there are some small towns that are primarily Francophone though. Hell the provincial government declared 2012 Year of the Fransaskois.

This is in no way perverted and it's quite legal. But why does the zip code V4G 1N4 exist for British Columbia? Do you think they will change it in the near future?

Sometimes, a well-known French phrase just has that certain je ne sais quoi.

All I was doing was answering your question. There's nothing in the current rules that forbids posting in foreign languages.

And you may want to look up "nyet"... it's not Asian.
