SSDs and HP DriveLock

Does anyone have experience with using HP's DriveLock on an SSD? According to some research I've done, DriveLock doesn't always work nicely on SSDs, though most of those issues seem to apply to older drives. Particularly, I'm interested in how well DriveLock works with a Samsung 840 Pro.
