Ok to delete my local - temp folder contents?

Thu Jan 19, 2012 8:48 am

Hi. So I run Win 7 64 bit. Upon an ESET AV scan, I notice lots of temp files I would like removed from my computer - including copies of old print jobs with some important data.

Given these are temp files, is is OK to trash the whole folder contents? Of course many are simply numbered. By date most are very old. Any known unpleasant consequences for doing so? Thanks.

Delete away.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

I'd go through the built-in cleaning manager which should clean out the temp files (Start->Run->"cleanmgr"). That's pretty much error-proof.
