Well, after procrastinating forever I finally installed Linux again. Mandrake 9.1. I'm actually attempting to learn it this time too! So far it's nice.

Took me forever to figure out how to install something from a tarball. My old Mandrake 7.0 Userguid was just too confusing so I hit the net and found a nice newbie guide.

I'm 95% sure I've managed to get it folding. 8) Now to get VNC working...

Very good VNC client is TightVNC: http://www.tightvnc.com
Works flawless and is cross platform.
