While I have to say that the quality of video playback is absolutely excellent with OSMC and Kodi on the Raspberry Pi 2, the Kodi library management leaves a world of desire.
Ive tried manually checking titles against "The Move Database" and nothing shows up.. Ive done manual library updates, ect... and only about 5 movies ever showes up on the main movies tabs. Otherwise I have to manually go to my share location about 4 menu clicks down to play a movie. It is so utterly wrong that it can't pull some of these movies.
So I figured maybe I'm doing it wrong, and I need to redo how I store my movies maybe? http://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/Movies
According to this, I should be able to do exactly what I'm doing... store all movie files individually by their name in a single folder. No odd names, no extra characters, just the movie name... and still no dice!
Is there some sort of magic trick I'm missing to get the scrapper in Kodi to download information and/or just add my files to the movie list, regardless of whether it can of can't scrap it?
