Ubuntu on 2nd hard drive

Postposted on Tue May 13, 2008 7:28 pm

I tried installing Ubuntu on my laptop on the 2nd partition with Wubi, but when booting up it came up with an error and wouldn't load. So I installed from the CD doing the Install Ubuntu (following these instructions (http://news.softpedia.com/news/Installi ... 4314.shtml)). And I see now that it took all 136GB of my D: partition. So my question is, short of uninstalling Ubuntu, is there a way to get most of that partition back as I use it for storage for Windows crap.

Download & burn the GParted LiveCD, then boot from it. It supports resizing ntfs and ext3, among other filesystems.
Think for yourself, schmuck!

Or just use the Ubuntu liveCd and run gparted. you might have to apt-get it first.
