I remember someone was wanting SuSE 7.3 Pro, and I have that in full now (Well, CD 3 is redownloading, should be done shortly). I have pretty much everything else there is, so if anyone needs a copy of something or would like to try a new NIX, give me a shout.

Figure 2$ flat for burning/labelling (labelling optional and done by sharpie), discs at cost, shipping at cost.

Anyone interested?

I would like to have a copy of SUSE from you Forge. Do you have a PayPal accout? Whatever happended to that review you were supposed to do a while back?

Not sure. AdamLongWalker and I were working on a few, then we just sort of drifted away from it. No Paypal account yet, though I'm starting to think I should get one.

PMFJI, but I thought SuSE officially discouraged ISO images, etc. Last time I looked they had an FTP install procedure, but would not post CD images. Has this changed ?? I still don't see and ISO's on their FTP site. Oh well, real Linux junkies use Debian anyway. :razz:

I've been studiously avoiding looking into the legality of these SuSE ISOs. I don't want to know, just in case.

DMG - Well, yeah, but what if you DIDN'T have that cable? Those are the folks I'm primarily thinking of.

Forge - cool, don't ask, don't tell. I find SuSE's policy on ISO's rather silly anyway - RedHat has a very enlightened approach to ISO's, and they are clobbering SuSE in sales. My posting was mostly a head's up, didn't want you to get blind sided. Once I figured out apt-get, I haven't had to download any ISO's anyway. Happy nude year! :smile:

Forge I don't imagine you would be willing to tell us where we could download a copy? I have been trying to get a copy of SUSE but have not been having much luck.

A friend and I have been itching to give linux another go but we wanted to try different distributions.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I found 7.3 Pro on eDonkey. A buddy of mine bought 7.3 Personal.

Thanks. eDonkey and I don't get along to well. I coulnd't figure out how to make it do what I wanted so I gave up on it and went back to Winmx. Thanks anyway.

i got 7.3 SuSe personal off a friend.
runs really well I like it better than Mandrake and RedHat. If ne1 wants a copy lemme know ill get it out to ya (well within the USA ne ways)
