ok i m putting a amd 2500+ "B" on a lanparty kt400a, with 80 mb windows home and a 2.5 mb media drive , so is it a better idea to get a 40 gb for linux? i enjoy programing w/ it, but it seems like a better idea then partitioning, becuase it dedicates all of that drive to it . IDEAS?

Just partition the drive, having a whole drive dedicated to it isn't going to give you anything extra :)

I just bought one single 120GB HDD and put XP and SuSE on it in a dual boot setup. I have 80GB for XP and 40GB for SuSE. I am comtemplating whether to keep 4 or 5 GB free as a FAT32 so that I can have a common share drive between Xp and SuSE. Can't wait until the write portion of the NTFS stuff is done.
