I have been hearing the term 'folding' a lot lately, and have no idea what you people are talking about. Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on.....

Here's a link to an article about it.
It's basically like SETI except that it's for medical research, for Stanford Univ. The findings of the research will be available to all, it's a educational research study that will benefit all people researching a few diseases.
