Pff, I can't even do 2000 PPD, and these guys are doing 10k+ like it was nothing to them :oops:

SMP Linux clients FTW. I recently upgraded my desktop at home to a 6600 quad, my home server is an Athlon X2 3800+ and my work machine is an Athlon X2 4200+. All 3 run the SMP Linux client and it looks like that nets me over 4k ppd (stats still settling down after upgrade). If you are serious about the points, the quad core is where it is at.

There is also a quadcore xeon that is clocked slighly lower (2.13ghz vs 2.4ghz) than the Q6600 andf it is about $30 cheaper!

EOC is back up, but I think they need some more work. According to them SereneScreen turned in ~ 1 3/4 million points at 9 AM this morning. :roll:

News Flash! The United Gerbil Nation passes the 5,000,000 point milestone!

And I (and many other gerbils) helped! Maybe You can help, too?

It's good to see UGN back in bright red, but things are not all rosy. Two giant power crazed gerbils (Fuzzhead and flybywire) have cooked up a dastardly plan to feast on the gerbil collective. Please help, if you can, to keep this savage act of cannibalism from happening. Please help us give our sad eyed little gerbils a reason to do the happy dance.

SereneScreen started folding for Tech Report on 11/03/04 and we are finally just now closing in on 2,000,000 points. I will just be glad to get to that milestone. It sure has taken awhile.

Best of luck to everyone else ahead of us, but hopefully we will close in on some of you before to long.

WTG! Jav400 and the SereneScreen faithful! It looks like you will pass the two million mark around the end of the month.
Folding is a long slow road for most of us.

Maybe after passing the 2,000,000 milestone you could spare a cpu or two,
to help save the UGN collective from the horror of cannibalism?
