I just downloaded the nvidia beta client for my 8800GTS, but I'm having a problem. Every time I start it up, it is unable to download the core, and displays a log like the following..

The funny thing is that I already have downloaded that core manually and placed it in the folder. I followed all of the instructions - hex editor, .bz, extraction to .exe. The same problem occurs with the SMP client, but the normal CPU client works perfectly when I enable the "Use IE settings" mode. I have NO security software installed whatsoever, no proxy anywhere, and as far as I know nothing on my router that would prevent traffic on ports 80 or 8080. My ISP is (regrettably) Comcast.

I really want to get back into the game, but heating up my room in the summer for a puny 3-400 ppd from the single core clients just isn't worth it.
